Integration of Information and Computer Technology in the Classroom, Part 2 - On-line
The Additional Qualification course: Integration of Information and Computer Technology in the Classroom, Part II provides an in-depth exploration of information and communication technology issues as they relate to education. It strengthens practical information and communication technology skills and knowledge, within the classroom and whole school context. The course is open to candidates who meet the entry requirements identified in Regulation 184/97.
The course is based on an in-depth knowledge of information and communication technology to support the curriculum and to promote the use of computers as an educational tool to extend and enrich students' learning in important and unique ways.
Prerequisites:
1.OCT Certificate of Qualification.
2.Successful completion of Integration of Information and Computer Technology in the Classroom- Part 1.
3.Proof that the qualification is noted on their Ontario College of Teachers' Certificate of Qualification.
4.Evidence of at least one year of successful teaching experience in Ontario certified by the appropriate supervisory officer or proof of at least one year of successful teaching experience outside Ontario certified by the appropriate supervisory officer by submitting a Certificate of Teaching Experience
