Application Deadline Date - September 3, 2010
Fall Term - September 20, 2010 - December 10, 2010
Early registration is advised as courses may fill prior to the deadline. Limited registration may be available after the deadline, although a $50.00 late fee will be charged.
If your registration is cancelled for any reason (including failure to meet the admission requirements), you will receive a refund less $35. Only in cases where a course is cancelled by the University will full refunds be issued.
PRIOR TO APPLYING FOR AN AQ COURSE, PLEASE REVIEW THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION:
1. The Confirmation/Signature page at the end of your Application indicates that you have successfully applied for an Additional Qualifications Course. An E-Mail confirming Course Status/Registration will be sent AFTER the Term's Application Deadline Date i.e. September 3, 2010.
2. For All Additional Qualification Courses, a copy of your OCT Certificate MUST be submitted to the AQ Office prior to Course start.
3. For Part 2 and Part 3/Specialist Courses, a copy of your OCT Certificate AND a Certificate of Teaching Experience Form (signed by your Superintendant) MUST be submitted to the AQ Office prior to Course start.
4. AQ courses with pre-requisites MUST be supported with an Official Transcript, submitted prior to acceptance.
5. Please review Course Descriptions to be sure you meet all requirements/pre-requisites. If you are unsure of your eligibility, please contact the AQ Professional Development office BEFORE you Apply. 905.721.8668 ext. 2892. Course specific admission requirements can be found on the Ontario College of Teacher's website at www.oct.ca .
All supporting documents (Transcripts, OCT Certificate of Qualifications, Certification of Teaching Experience) must be forwarded/faxed to the attention of:
