Kate Gibbings joined UOIT as the Education Librarian in July 2009. She supports the learning needs of teacher-candidates, teachers taking AQ courses and graduate students by answering reference questions, selecting the best print and electronic resources, creating online guides, and teaching information literacy skills.
Kate holds a Bachelor of Education degree and a Master of Library and Information Science degree from the University of Western Ontario. In addition to her library experience, Kate has worked as an ESL teacher and at SSHRC.
