Catherine Heeney is retired from a 30 yr. teaching career that included roles as a classroom teacher, teacher librarian, special education teacher, resource teacher for the gifted, vice principal and principal for four Ontario School Boards. She holds specialist qualifications in special education, religious education and library.
Since retiring Catherine has held LTO positions as Principal, Vice Principal and Program Support Teacher. Most recently she worked with a committee at UOIT to amass resources for the Primary Junior Teacher Education Program and looks forward to her current role as a Faculty Advisor.
