Sheila is teaching P/J Science & Technology, P/J Science Camp, I/S Concurrent Field Experience (yrs 2 & 3), P/J Health & Phys Ed. and is also a Faculty Advisor.
Sheila has taught Grades 2-8, Special Education programs and was a School Board Computer Consultant. She developed the LEGO Design and Technology programs at the Ontario Science Centre in Toronto. Sheila was the Student Projects Coordinator at the Education Network of Ontario.
Sheila has been involved in many curriculum writing projects and has developed numerous online curriculum activities and courses for teachers and students.
Sheila now runs the Robotics Challenge Canada project, a multi-disciplinary web-based activity for students and teachers. She is the National Coordinator for the Canadian National Marsville program.
Sheila obtained her B.A.Sc. degree at the University of Guelph. This was followed by a B.Ed. from York University and an M.Ed. in Special Education from OISE.
Sheila is an active member and volunteer at the North York YMCA and enjoys a variety of recreational activities.
