Ian is currently a full time secondary school teacher with the Durham District School Board.
He has taught English and been active in Eastdale Collegiate's Student Success program as a coordinator of the Credit Recovery and School College Work Initiative programs.
For the last two years Ian has worked at Durham College both as a part time professor and curriculum specialist in the College's Innovation Center. He is currently immersed in aligning secondary school students' expectations with what awaits them in post secondary education both from a curricular perspective as well as a technological one.
Ian is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario where he studied English and the University of Toronto where he completed his Masters degree as well as his Bachelor of Education.
