August 17, 2009 - April 29, 2010 are the dates for the 2009-2010 BEd Program at UOIT.

Mid-September 2009
Applications to the BEd program are processed through the Ontario Universities Application Centre (OUAC). Applications for all Ontario teacher education programs are filtered through the Teacher Education Application Service (TEAS). Here is the website:

You can meet some of the UOIT Faculty of Education professors and have your questions answered at the Ontario Universities Fair at the Metro Convention Centre during this weekend.

Come to the UOIT Open House and meet current students in the B.Ed. program and their professors who will be happy to answer your questions and give you program information.

This is the deadline for you to submit your application to TEAS.
Your online application form (and transcripts) for UOIT must be received by UOIT by December 1, 2009. You must also submit your supplemental application components (completed reference forms and your personal profile) to UOIT by this date.
Sorry, we do not accept late applications.
Early February 2010
We will send letters out to all applicants and inform you of your application status. Some applicants will also receive an invitation to an interview. This is the next step in the application process.
February 13th and 14th, 2010
Congratulations if you have been invited to an interview. We will ask you for photo ID before the interview can begin.
February 27, 2010
UOIT will have an open house on the main campus for all interested future students
April 1, 2010
Acceptance offers are mailed out.
April, 2010
This is the last date for accepting your offer of admission through the TEAS website and UOIT Faculty of Education website.
July 1, 2010
This is the deadline for submitting all final transcripts to the Office of the Registrar at UOIT so that you may begin the BEd program in September, 2010.
