Bachelor of Education Courses & Degree Requirements (2009-2010)
To be eligible for the BEd degree, students must successfully complete the courses outlined below. The following information details the degree requirements for students entering the Consecutive BEd program in 2009. Courses and degree requirements for subsequent years are subject to change.

The following courses are required for students in both the Primary/Junior and Intermediate/Senior programs. A specific version of each course if offered for each of the P/J and I/S programs. |

- Field Experience and Practica I & II
- Individual Needs and Diversity
- Math Camp
- Science and Technology Camp

Students in both the Primary/Junior and Intermediate/Senior programs must take at least one of the following electives in each term to a maximum of 3 electives/year: |

- Outdoor Education (2 choices Fall; 2 choices Winter)
- Problem-Based Learning
- Religious Education: Teaching in Ontario Catholic Schools

- Mathematics for Teachers
- Advanced Mathematics
- Action Research
