BEd Program
Welcome
On behalf of the BEd program office, we welcome you to the BEd program. We want your BEd experience to be both challenging and fulfilling for you. On your behalf, many professors and instructors have planned exciting programs and activities. In addition to the courses offered at UOIT, we offer exciting electives, camps and professional development opportunities. Some examples include: Math Camp, Science Camp, Tribes training, Safe School training and specialty PD days and speakers.
There are many supports for you located through the program office. Here are some of the key personnel working on your behalf. Please do not hesitate to contact them:

Process and Timeline for Registration for your Courses
The Faculty of Education calendar on this website contains more detail than your Mycampus schedule - additional days on the calendar include Science and Math camps.
Please register for your courses and electives by June 30. More information to follow.
Please pay your laptop fee before Program Start Day on August 17, 2009.
Your tuition fees (or OSAP arrangements) need to be looked after by September 1.
Obtaining your Laptop
All Education students (Consecutive BEd and Concurrent 5th year BSc/BEd) will pick up their laptop and receive training on Program Start Day (August 17th, 2009). You will need identification and proof that you have paid your laptop fee in order to pick up your laptop.
When you pick up your laptop, you will also receive a backpack.
Your laptop includes a built in web camera and 1000 print credits on UOIT printers.
You may want to purchase an external mouse as one is not provided and may be needed especially for photo work
