Job Fair

The Teacher Job Fair takes place on Wednesday January 16, 2008 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Make sure you attend and have your chance to meet with representatives from area school boards and other education employers. Check back to this page for further details as employers confirm their registrations!

Expectations:
Faculty of Education students will be expected:

To attend the full event and meet with multiple representatives
To represent UOIT and the Faculty in a professional manner, including appropriate dress

Preparation:
A seminar on Job Fair Preparation is scheduled in the week prior to the event to help you prepare and get the most out of the Job Fair. Come prepared with your questions.

Note: Most school boards will likely not accept resumes at the Fair due to the requirements of their application packages. It would be beneficial though for you to have at least started the process of preparing a professional cover letter and resume to be able to speak about your skills and potential contributions.
