Field Experience Portal
In Fall 2007, the Faculty of Education at UOIT introduced a new and comprehensive online assessment and communication tool, the Field Experience Portal.
The Portal manages all elements of the UOIT Faculty of Education Practicum and is used to ensure open communication throughout the Practicum.
Associate Teachers and Faculty Advisors use the Portal to complete Teacher Candidate evaluations online. Teacher Candidates are able to log in to the Portal and view and print their evaluations. The Portal also keeps the lines of communication open among Teacher Candidates, Associate Teachers, Faculty Advisors and the Practicum Office.
Through the Portal, Teacher Candidates, Associate Teachers and Faculty Advisors can access Faculty of Education Practicum resource documents, such as the Field Experience Handbook and various other Practicum-related forms, as well as review announcements, information and notices from the Faculty of Education and Practicum Office.
